CEE LO: Fake Watch Exposed on Instragram?

May 19, 2014 -- 6:23pm

With Jacob the Jewler no longer serving the hip-hop masses, there's been a bunch of jewelers trying to fill his shoes.

But with that, you know there are going to be some people trying to pull fast ones. Instagram account FakeWatchBuster has started calling out fake diamond encrusted accessories -- and has found itself in a standoff with Avianne and Company for claiming the jeweler gave Cee Lo Green a bogus $34,000 watch.

According to TMZ, Avianne and Company has sent off a cease-and-desist letter to the guy behind the popular Instagram account, which labeled CeeLo's custom 20-carat diamond-studded Panerai from Avianne a bad "fake." The photo has since been removed but no apology has been issued.

TMZ reports Avianne is the same company responsible for Ciara's 15-carat diamond engagement ring.

WEIRD NEWS: Dine and Dash ... Hold the Dash

May 19, 2014 -- 6:16pm

A Florida man had his dine and dash plan dashed when he scarfed down his meal and bolted for the parking lot – where he tried to get into a stranger's car that he thought was his.

Peter Gaffey had a late dinner at the Dubliner Irish Pub, which he washed down with enough beers to make him unsteady on his feet – and unsure about where he'd parked his ride. He initially tried to pay the check with his debit card, but had it declined – so he left it on the bar and made a run for it.

Cops were called to the scene and found him slumped against a black Mercedes that looked like his car, which he'd parked across the street. An arresting officer says Gaffey was drunk and belligerent, and that he wouldn't reveal his name. He was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on fraud and resisting arrest charges. • Aliko Dangote -- The wealthiest person in Nigeria is worth $25 billion from selling cement and sugar, and is building an oil refinery.
  • Mike Adenuga –- He's worth $4.6 billion and is Nigeria's second wealthiest man, owning the country's second-largest telecom operator. He also owns a staks in an oil exploration firm.
  • Oprah Winfrey – $2.9 billion - She's America's only black billionaire.

Some people who are a few dollars short of a billion:

  • Bob Johnson - The founder and original owner of BET, which has since been sold to Viacom, became the first black billionaire. Johnson also was the former majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. Now he's worth about $550 million.

HOW WOMEN USE FACEBOOK TO DECIDE IF THEY WILL SLEEP WITH YOU

May 14, 2014 -- 6:01pm

Your Facebook profile can mean the difference between striking out and getting lucky.

Here are some questions women ask when looking at your Facebook profile to figure out if they’re going to sleep with you:

  • Are You Mysterious? – Too much information is a bad thing. Your best bet is to post here and there and limit your content.

  • Are You Good With Animals? And Babies? – Put women at ease by featuring a few pictures with animals and kids. Scare her off by posting pictures of you with guns and crystal meth.

  • Did You Untag Your Ex? – If you untag each and every photo of your ex, it sends the message that the breakup was toxic. Nobody wants drama, including any new women you might meet.

  • How Many Selfies Do You Take? – Less is more. Always. (GuyCodeBlog)
