According to HipHopVibe, Wale recently accepted the challenge of a random fan who DM'd the DMV rapper on Twitter. Tweeter @iTweetYoMom asked if he would quit making music if they could get 10,000 re-tweets. Laughing it off, Wale encouraged them to do their best, seeing how they only have 400 followers. Since then, their followers have increased to 700, but Wale jokingly said he would quit because they won't even get 10 re-tweets, they are up to almost 6,000 re-tweets.
Are Diddy and Cassie finally engaged?
It certainly looks that way judging from Diddy's Instagram this weekend. He hinted at the development after he posted a picture of huge diamond engagement ring and captioned it: "Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat you like! I just wanna Mk you smile :) #takeDat."
Keyshia Cole then got in on the action, posting a picture of her and Cassie in which Cassie can be seen wearing the ring.
For her part, Cassie replied to Diddy's post by simply writing, "Lol."
A Florida high school teacher has been suspended for giving his students Lil' Wayne lyrics to read for homework. The eighth-grade English teacher got into hot water after asking his students to read the uncensored “6 Foot 7 Foot” -- which is filled with four-letter words and derogatory references -- and find examples of "figurative language" in the song. That didn't fly with many of their parents.
According to WBTV television news, the school's principal told parents students were having trouble grasping literary techniques, and that the teacher assigned the "colloquial material" so they could relate to it better. Still, he suspended the teacher for three days for not clearing the material first.
