Las Vegas Raiders Player Henry Ruggs III, Facing DUI Charges After Fatal Car Crash
One person is left dead, and another injured after a fiery car crash involving Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III. According to reports, the fatal crash that took place Tuesday morning (Nov. 2) involved two cars, including Ruggs’ Chevrolet Corvette.
According to reports, Ruggs showed signs of impairment when the police reached the scene. Ruggs‘ lawyer said,
“On behalf of our client Henry Ruggs III, we are conducting our own investigation as of this writing and ask everyone to reserve judgement until all the facts are gathered.”
The Raiders also released a statement,
“The Raiders are aware of an accident involving Henry Ruggs III that occurred this morning in Las Vegas. We are devastated by the loss of life and out thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family. We are in the process of gathering information and will have no further comment at this time.”

Henry Ruggs III, who was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft, is facing charges related to DUI of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance resulting in substantial bodily harm and reckless driving with death or substantial bodily harm.
He is currently being held without bail and will face a judge on Wednesday (Nov. 3).
